- Only one of the things I have to do today sounds even remotely appealing. I think I'm losing my desire to do anything.
- I found an old friend's blog, and he has written a Tetris program for it. It's fantastic. What a wonderful new way to waste my time.
- My sister is moving today. I never figured out how I'll get a hold of her while she's living in a hotel/company housing, which means I can't call to talk to her or call and wish my nephew a happy birthday on Monday. Poor planning on my part...
- If I ever get married on a Thursday, I won't make anyone come.
- April Fool's Day is not a nice holiday. I don't plan to observe it. No one who knows me should think that I will think it is even remotely funny if they try to play some sort of trick on me that day.
- I love getting a hair cut--it always looks so nice when my stylist is done with it. Now, I just need to figure out how to get her to do my hair every morning so that it always looks great.
- I saw a sign the other day that said "Big Pimp Sale" except it didn't: it actually said "Big Pump Sale." I was pretty disappointed.
- Yesterday, someone at work described potbellied pigs as "just like an animal." Too funny.
- No matter how many Hallmark cards I keep at my apartment, I keep having events where I don't have a card that fits, so I have to go to the store anyway, which totally negates all of the value of storing cards.
- I love asparagus.
- My mom is adorable: I can tell her that I need to step up my game, and she knows what I mean. Too cute.
- If my pile of stuff to go to DI gets much bigger, I may have a serious situation. Probably should just take it down there this weekend. Probably won't though.
- If you have kids, don't do drugs. If you do drugs, don't have kids. If you have kids and do drugs and a judge tells you that you have 3 weeks to get your life in order, don't come to court on drugs. Actually, that's just a good rule in general--don't go to court when you'll test positive for a variety of drugs.
- I'm screening my calls right now, trying to avoid an unpleasant conversation. If you call me and need something, go ahead and leave a message. If I don't call you back, you're probably the person I'm avoiding. :)
- My coworker can't say the word "inanimate," but it's delightful to hear her try over and over.
- I blog too much. I've almost blogged as much this year as I did during the entire year last year. Is it a problem? Some sort of addiction? I suppose there are worse things I could do...
- Is it possible to have raging apathy? Because I do.
I should get back to work now. Truth be told, today will be largely unproductive because yesterday was ULTRA productive, and I just don't usually do that two days in a row. Tomorrow, I have to work very, very early in the morning, so today I'll mostly just be sitting here, mentally preparing for that. I'm such an awesome employee.

Several thoughts.
1. Tetris rocks. I have it, along with my old-school Nintendo. You are welcome anytime to come and rock it.
2. I'm working on a DI pile, too! You can let yours get big, and then we can make a trip together in my SUV, if you'd like. It's big.
3. I understand on stocking up on greeting cards. I have four boxes of cards from Costco. Most of the time I'm covered, but every once in a while . . .
Liz! How funny that you found my blog! I was pleasantly surprised to find your first score posted on mine. (I was less pleasantly surprised when you beat my score... but I'll see what I can do about that)
I haven't seen you in...just less than a year. I hope everything's going well... I'll check back here.
Matt--
I know--it's been forever! How are things? Where are you living these days? How's school, etc?
We are in room 104 at the faaabulous La Quinta Inn!!! (read that with a game show announcer voice) This morning the boys wouldn't eat breakfast.
I think they're sick of bad doughnuts, bad muffins, and bad waffles. Tomorrow maybe we'll go out. Ponderosa, next door, has a breakfast buffet. Can't we worse...
The phone number to the front desk here is (920) 457-2321. I do not know if they are fancy enough to connect you to our room, but you could try it!
