Grateful

There are many people who would complain about the state of our nation.  I certainly have complained before, but honestly, we're pretty fortunate.

Anyone who follows global news probably knows a bit about what has happened in Zimbabwe recently.  Presidential elections with only one choice?  Check.  Torture, destruction, intimidation, fear, hate, war, poverty?  Check.

You feel bad about the value of the US dollar?

I agree, Liz. Life doesn't seem so bad (in fact, our complaints can seem a little ridiculous) in comparison.

I served my mission in Zimbabwe... so I follow the news quite closely. Of late, the situation has been receiving more coverage as things have taken a turn for the worse (and it's astounding that they've been able to get worse).

I wish there was something I could do... I wrote about it in April here
