(Note to self: most people here seem to not love the rain. In future socializing attempts, try to be more mainstream.)
The windows in my apartment are open right now as part of a cat exorcism. (Don't ask.)
I'm sitting by my giant bedroom window listening to the rain fall.
Rain is so peaceful, so soothing.
I really shouldn't live in a desert.

Ah, listening to the rain is one of the most comforting things to do. I love it. I wish we had more rain this spring. I guess we'll enjoy it while it lasts.
When I was little I loved the sound of raindrops on an old fashioned metal roof. It is still one of the most beautiful sounds I know.

I like the rain. More in the south than here. There the rain is warmer and much more fun to run around in. Anywhere the sound of rain is a comfort. Anyway I am babbling as usual.
My perfect week would have maybe three sunny days, two partly sunny days and two overcast/rainy days. The rainy days would have little peaks of sunshine between showers. And once in a while, there would be thunder in the evening.
We get plenty of rain here, and I LOVE to listen to it. For the first few days. After that it just makes me nervous, as we've officially decided NOT to have an indoor pool for our basement. :-)
I love the sound of rain...like LL for a few days...then I miss the sun!
