Paranoia

I've heard before that it isn't paranoia if someone really is out to get you. I am having a serious case of paranoia right now, but it could be true. I can't go into any details because, although the person at the heart of the issue isn't one of my blog-readers, he or she does know many of them, so it could get back to him or her.

At what point does paranoia become unhealthy? Is the fact that it is making me feel a desire to be sneaky and moderately badly behaved in order to figure out if it is true a bad sign?

Should I take some underhanded action to sort out the mystery? It would benefit my sanity to do so, but it's probably wrong...or is it??

Oooh! Oooh! I totally want to help and give an official diagnosis, but without a name, I can do no such thing.

Good heavens-I had a very hard time deciding what exactly was going on here. In general, I am all for engaging in moderately bad behavior to fix an awkward social situation. I hate when people cross borders and don't seem to realize it. I would absolutely do something about it.

That being said, if you end up in jail on account of my advice, I'll have no choice but to claim ignorance.
