Work

Sometimes, I have the strangest conversations at work.

D: Cows aren't dalmations--it's not little black spots; it's big black splotches.
Roo: Fine! I'll make big black splotches.
Me: I'm not dressing up like a cow. It's just not going to happen.
Roo: Then you're no fun.
Me: Yeah, I think we've established that.

And then we moved on to talking about work again.

What was the reason for the cow conversation? If you dress up like a cow, you can get a free meal today at Chick-fil-a.

Not worth it. I love Chick-fil-a, but if I want that for food today, I'll just buy it.

Turns out I am no fun. Truthfully, that's a pretty good assessment, especially at work. I suppose I should be more fun, but the last couple of years of work and school seem to have sucked all of the fun out of me.

I'm getting old and boring.

Oh well. I'm too tired to care.

I also debated about dressing JJ up as a cow but decided I would spend more money on dressing him up than the actual food cost, so we didn't bother.

I have a cow costume (for the kids). If only we had Chick-fil-a here...

It is very narrow minded of Chick-fil-a to think that all cows are white with black spots, you certainly could have dressed all in black and gone as a black angus-right?

Such a good point, Karry...I don't think that the Chick-fil-a people really know that much about cows, so I'm not sure if they would've gone for it.

I'll suggest it to my coworkers for next year, when I'm sure they'll be dressing up again. Black Angus would've been easier for sure!
