- Central Park
- Food carts on the street - you can buy basically any food you want for very little money while you're just walking around the city
- Rain
- Walking or riding the subway to get basically anywhere
- Cute temple right in the city
- Listening to New York couples disagree with each other (too hard to describe, but it's hilarious)
- Bagels
- The Chrysler Building
- Pizza places on every street - there's even an Argentine Pizzeria near my house
- Plants - everything here just grows on its own. Trees, grass, you name it, we've got it!

Ten
In honor of the date today being 10/10/10, I thought I'd share ten things I love about New York City. These aren't necessarily my top ten favorite things about New York, but just the ten things that are tickling me today.

Rain is one of the 10 things? Last week you were complaining about the rain.
I guess like everything else, it "grows" on you.
We are glad you are getting settled into NYC.
Hmm. I think you need to whip out the iPhone and catch a little disagreement on the recording app next time you hear an interesting squabble.
you make me laugh..."cute" temple :)
plants? I'm surprised anything grows... how do they get sunlight?
I never complained about the rain--I'm impressed by the rain. And a bit soggy because I lack appropriate rain gear. But I'm working on it.
And yes, Camille--the temple is just as cute as a button! It's adorable! (I know...not language usually used to describe a temple, but still...)
No idea where the sunlight comes from. Maybe they're mutant plants? Actually, it's quite sunny here. Much more than I expected. It can be very, very bright in my apartment. And today, while I was trying to take a nap at school, I ended up in a ton of direct sunlight and had to move.
Yes, I was napping at school. You all would've done the same thing. Trust me.
