Poor Management

In my Operations Management class, we're discussing Project Management.  The discussion is quite complex and far too boring for a blog (hence its inclusion in a textbook), but basically, it's about task completion, the order and time frame for completing them, and statistical analysis for predicting the likelihood of everything going right.

I'm a bit behind in this class.  I haven't missed any due dates, but in my own, unfortunate version of Project Management, I've been putting off working on this class because its due dates were later than the due dates in my other classes, and I have very limited time and resources for working on school because of a very busy, demanding work schedule.

Now, I'm pressed up against the due date--not an enjoyable position.

I am so, so looking forward to being graduated!

I'm very interested in statistical analysis for predicting the likelihood of things going good.

For the most part I just plan on things going bad and once in a blue moon I'm pleasantly surprised.

I spend an unhealthy amount of time studying project management stuff. In fact I'm studying for the PMP exam now. We should go take it together! :). Anyway, I'm pumped to hear all about this so don't forget it before we talk.

Hmm. Sound like fascinating diner conversation.

Sorry you are against the wall. Maybe this section of your homework will let you better manage all your classes for the rest of the semester.

Whenever you talk about school and your classes, I must admit that I remember how grateful I am that I am graduated! I think my years as a student must have been a little stressful for me. Because now, whenever I have a nightmare, it is always about being in school again...

Amen to that one Emily. I often dream that I am late for my English final and I have never even gone to the class so I know I'm hosed. And I've been graduated for almost 9 years... At least I've moved on to the imaginary nightmares, not the real ones where I'm up against a deadline. :-) Hang in there Tita!!
