I usually walk to work, so there is very little commute. However, on Tuesdays I go to the gym with my mom up in Orem, so then I have to drive back down to my office. I don't love driving, but it's not super far.
Today, the commute was totally exciting. For about half of my drive, I was driving next to a De Lorean! I don't think I've seen one in real life before, just in movies and on TV. I was completely fascinated by it, and at every stop light, I stared. The guy probably thought I was checking him out. He would be mistaken. It was the car.
Then, as we continued to drive, I saw someone get pulled over! I've never seen that either! I've seen people who have ALREADY been pulled over, who are on the side of the street, but never the whole thing. I'm sure it wasn't exciting for the guy who got pulled over, but he had it coming--he was speeding in a school zone, and then a police officer pulled out of a driveway right there--I didn't see the police car until it was on the move, so I'm sure he didn't either. Fortunately, I was obeying the law. Except I was a bit distracted by the De Lorean, so it was a bigger surprise than it would have been, I think.
Anyway, a very exciting start to my Tuesday. I have a good feeling about today now. I have to take some clothes to the dry cleaners after work--who knows what will happen then?!?!?

Anything fun happen on the way to or from the cleaners?
Sadly, no. But my clothes are going to be ready Thursday afternoon, so that's exciting. :)
tee hee you make me laugh
J and I were having this discussion about dry cleaning the other day; I will usually NOT buy something if you're supposed to dry clean itt . . . extra money and hassle--no thanks! She said she has quite a few dry-clean only items, so much so that when she takes clothes in, it's $100+! So what's your philosophy?
I usually try not to buy dry clean items either, but because of work, I have a few. Unfortunately, I like, NEVER take them to be cleaned. I've had a bag that needed to go to the cleaners for several months, and then I added something to it the other day and decided that I needed to take it in. So I did. I'm growing up.
But yeah, I hate dry clean things. I have very few of them.
