During a wonderful discussion with dear friend the other day, we were discussing how her ward (church congregation) has had some changes that make it more socially challenging to attend than ever before. These things happen in wards from time to time, and we talked about how it can be really difficult when a congregation goes through a phase where things don't click well.
Her comment: Ugh! It's like there isn't even a reason to go to church any more. (Pause) Except for Jesus, you know...
I laughed and laughed and laughed. It was fun to see an old, good friend out here in NYC. My floor is always open to anyone who wants to visit, especially if you can contribute gems like that!
