As today's example of pretty scary spelling, I submit the following.
Word to be spelled: zucchini (a variety of summer squash that is shaped like a cucumber and that has a smooth, dark-green skin).
Spelling generated by restaurant: zukiney.
Not even close, people. My poor spell-checker wants to change it into "funkiness."
I'm a bit worried about that person at the restaurant, and frankly, a bit concerned about my spell-checker as well.

I love zucchini...but not when I accidentally forget I'm cooking it and it turns into a soupy mess of...funkiness. No worries--your computer just knows my cooking!
