I was walking through a park, headed to the subway, on Tuesday of this week (September 11, 2012, for the record) and I smelled a smell.
A smell I couldn't place.
A weird, strange, wonderful smell.
After a moment, I realized what the smell was, and I exclaimed (aloud, in a classy fashion)
"IT'S FALL!!!!"
It's official--fall is here, as of Tuesday.
Ah, the smell of fall. No days above 80 degrees in the 10 day forecast. It's going to be 72 on Saturday.
I love the fall.

I hear we're warming up this weekend, but for now we're also enjoying some nicer, cooler weather. And the trees are starting to lose their leaves. Yay!!
That happened to me earlier this week. Isn't this time of year great!?
I'm soooo excited! I even wore a long sleeve cardi to church on Sunday to celebrate - despite the spike in temperature!
