Things I Saw

I had a lovely, albeit chilly, walk this morning.

I saw two interesting things. The first was a little duck family with the cutest ducklings:

This beautiful sight means that it's spring, folks.

The second thing I saw was a dead snake:

(No photo, as I was somewhat afraid that it might just be a comatose snake, or perhaps a sneaky snake with quail-like tendencies).

This not-so-beautiful sight means that the reptiles are dying off in the early stages of the apocalypse. Or it's just a dead snake. Tough to say.
