Very, very few people are at work today. I am one of them. Of course, what I am doing today can't really be described as working, but I am here at my desk. And I have answered the phone and answered a few questions for some people.
But mostly, I have had a few treats, read the paper, and now we're watching "Elf."
Only 2 hours or "work" left...

Harsh, huh? We're closed half the day Christmas Eve, and then we're closed on Christmas, but I'm back to the office tomorrow...
Stupid laws...
Our grocery store was a zoo on the eve. The manager of the grocery store came by to wish the checker Merry Christmas while she was ringing me up and she just rolled her eyes and said, "If you want me to have a Merry Christmas, close the store and let me go home!" Hee hee.
he he he...that is hilarious!
Sorry if I burst anyone's bubble, but working on Christmas Eve, for at least half the day or maybe more, is the norm, not the exception.
