Tonight, I had a double date with two of my nephews (ages almost 7 and almost 4). We had a super-fun time playing games, eating dinner, and reading stories. They are essentially hilarious. I wish I was 7 or 4 and could say whatever I wanted.
Some choice gems that they said tonight:
"I'm winning. It's because I'm the best at everything."
"You're a loser" (My reply: "No I'm not--we're all winners tonight!" His reply "Except you. You're losing.")
"I have 324 points. You don't have any! (Long pause...) It's okay though."
When all was said and done, after we had read stories for a while, their mom came home. Their greeting to her? "We had so much fun!"
I call that a successful evening with two of the most charming, handsome guys I've ever met!
