Now that I'm a poor student, I don't have great medical care. When I get sick, or have something I'm curious about, I spend a lot of time on the internet in the name of self diagnosis. There are all kinds of tools on the internet where select your symptoms from a list, and it gives you some likely diagnoses. Today, I chose "sensation of something in the eye." One possible diagnosis? "Foreign body in the eye." Thanks, internet. Never could have thought about that without you.
After a great deal of searching, I found some special cookies at the grocery store today. I flipped the box over to check the nutrition facts (not sure why, as I knew they were cookies and, therefore, not good for me). There are 8 servings per box. There are 5 cookies in the box. I just don't understand this. To make things even more complex, the cookies are triangles. I just don't know what to do with that.
Today, when I tried to type "sua sponte" on my phone, it auto corrected to "sue sponge." Not the same thing, iPhone.
It was 71 here today. I guess we're just not going to have winter. Whatever. I'll put my sweaters back in their boxes.
Yesterday, I saw a giant rat on the subway tracks. I had three thoughts. 1: Nice - that is a BIG one! 2: I'm impressed - it's rush hour! and 3: I'm so glad I only had mice, not rats. BLECH!
Today on my walk to the subway, I almost kicked a pigeon. It was unintentional, but now that I know they can recognize faces, I'm a bit apprehensive.
I spend so much time in New Jersey these days that sometimes, I think I should move there. Then I laugh and remember that it's New Jersey. (Disclaimer: there are lovely parts of New Jersey. The places I go are not in the lovely parts.)
In one of my classes today, we were discussing exhaustion. I am an expert in exhaustion, but not the legal kind, just the actual, I-need-a-nap kind.
And on that note, I'm going to go to sleep now, so that tomorrow, I can make sure I really learned what the professor wanted me to learn about exhaustion.

I love those random thoughts. They are much funnier then my own. I'm so tired from lack of sleep that I don't really have thoughts any more. :)
Ha! Loved it all.
And Kimmy, I feel your pain. When Javi was around 12 months old, I had a coherent thought about asymmetrical information and I literally had to sit down. The discovery that I still had a brain was just shocking. But also a little comforting. Perhaps, when they are all sleeping through the night, there will be something left of me after all. :-)
