Yesterday, I registered for the final semester of my undergraduate career.
Today, I purchased the final textbook of my undergraduate career. The class won't actually start for another six weeks, but I order my books online, and it takes a while to get them. It wasn't a bad purchase though--under $100. (Just barely, but still under.)
On a totally random side note, there is not a book in the world that I would see at the bookstore and think, "OOOO! Only $100!! I'm going to buy that posthaste!" I certainly am not going to miss buying those suckers...
I would rather buy actual suckers - cheaper, and more enjoyable!
But back to the subject at hand: there is a light at the end of the tunnel. People have been telling me this for about a year now, but I believe that those people were looking down a different tunnel than the one through which I have been traveling.
Lately, I've referred to that light at the end of the tunnel as a flashlight. Today, it feels like...a bigger flashlight.

Congratulations! So exciting for you!
I remember seeing, at one doctor's office, a comic strip on the wall that said, "The light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice." Classic.
At least yours is a growing flashlight!
WhaHOo! The end is in sight. I bet that is a great feeling. At least until the classes start again:)
Soot! What? Dang predictive typing doesn't know how to spell WOOT! Congratz, Liz. Just keep caring; it gets really hard to care as the end draws nigh.
Yea! I'm so happy for you! This is a big deal--celebrate! (just not TOO hard since you aren't actually done yet...)
Oh, Matt...I stopped caring long ago. :)
I'm actually holding up okay on the caring thing because, although I don't care a great deal about my classes, I am really, REALLY looking forward to being done. Really, really, really. A lot. Very much so.
