The streets are drying out. It's still windy, but not unbearably so.
Slowly, the streets have filled with shoppers, kids, people walking dogs, and cars.
Taxis are back in circulation. Even the buses are running again.
The air smells clean and fresh.
The hustle and bustle of NYC has returned to my street.
And now, I feel home again.
