As a rule, I think that people (especially women) feel old on their birthdays. I think that if you're a child, you're excited to get older. I'm not sure when you stop feeling that way.
I suppose I'm in a middle ground. I don't feel old at all. I'm not like, WAHOO! 23! either, so I can't be classified with the kids. So I don't know where I fall. But I don't feel old or sad at all, so that's good.
Yesterday was my birthday. I can't believe it's already April. Where has the time gone!?!?!?
